The Goals
Before you attack social media, you need to know what it is you want to accomplish. Goals determine process.
Do you want to get feedback, do you want to promote a book, do you want to find an agent, do you want to find your audience, do you want to sell 100 copies of an eBook? These are some goals. You may want to achieve one or all of these, and a dozen more.
In my program, I walk you through each of the FOUR phases of a book’s life, and show you how social media can complement them. But first, you must have written down your goals. And, depending on what phase your book’s life is in, each goal will be different.

Please note that I call it the 4 Phases of a BOOK’S life, not the writer’s life.
You use some social applications more than others depending on which phase you’re in, and rightly so, as different platforms lend themselves better to different areas of a book’s life. And, integrating the networks slowly or even one at a time in some cases, helps the digestion process.

Blog: Blog about looking for agents, writing query letters, proposals, etc. Read blogs on how to handle rejection, how to submit, package, etc. Find webinars and ebooks on ebook publishing or iphone apps
