    • One study revealed:
    • 72.3% of exhibitors use Facebook
    • 58% use LinkedIn
    • 53.8% use micro blogging sites (Tumblr/Twitter)
    • 52.1% use blogs
  • 5. How Social Media is Used
    • Before, during, and after events in order to connect with attendees and other exhibitors
    • Increases traffic to trade show booths

  • 6. Quality over Price
    • Trade show exhibitors are pulling out all the stops when it comes to their display systems.
    • More custom displays are being used.
    • Attendees are also increasing their budgets and spending more at conventions based on quality.

    • Less paper is being used.
    • More technology is used to relay product/service information (presentations, videos, social media).
    • Reusable giveaway items are used, such as water bottles and tote bags.
    • A line of eco-friendly trade show exhibits is also available, called Eco System Displays .

    • Since the explosion of iPads and iPhones, it seems like everyone wants to get their hands on one – especially if it’s free.
    • More exhibitors are drawing in a crowd by holding drawings for items such as these.
