    • Meet vendors and other professionals to network with in related industries

    • Have a goal established
    • Talk to your customers
    • Do your research
    • Attend the trade show first

    • What do you want to accomplish from the event?
    • Questions to ask yourself:
    • 1. Do you want to network or get leads?
    • 2. Are you trying to reach the consumers or executives?
  • 5. Where will your audience be?
    • Ask your customers what shows they plan on going to
    • You will definitely get more results if you go to trade shows that your target audience will be at instead of participating at random shows
  • 6. Research, Research, Research
    • Find out where your competitors are going
    • Get a list of who attended last year’s show to get an idea of what audience will be there
  • 7. Attend First
    • Don’t be afraid to walk the trade show floors as an attendee before deciding to exhibit
    • Find out what other exhibitors are doing to draw in a crowd
    • This will also help discover if your target audience will be there
