Itmeans that text message is delivered to theRadio A.2 Go to menu of Radio A and selectMessages->Write. Type text message,press OK and then Send. SelectDispatcher Contact Name (PC Contactor Private Contact) and press OK.On SmartPTT Dispatcher Console pop upSubscriber Call Window is appeared inwhich text of the message and time aredisplayed.3 In Subscriber Panel double click onGroup 1 (in which Radio A, B and Care included) to open Group CallWindow. In Text Message field typetext message and press Send Button orEnter on your keyboard.Radios A, B and C receive text messageand it is displayed on their screens.On SmartPTT Dispatcher Console pop upGroup Call Window is appeared with thefollowing information: “Time”> Messageis sent “Text”.4 In Subscriber Panel double click onRadio A to open Subscriber CallRadio A receives Text message and it isdisplayed on radio screen.

SelectTemplate and click on Send button.In Subscriber Call Window you will seetext of the message and delivery time. Itmeans that text message is delivered to theRadio A.2.12. Deferred actionsDeferred actions – Voice message# Actions Presumable result Comments1 Switch off Radio A.In Subscriber Panel double click onRadio A (even if it’s in Offline List ofsubscribers) and select CreateDeferred Action.Create Deferred Action Window is opened.2 In Create Deferred Action Windowclick on Record button and startrecording voice message. After youfinish click on Stop button. Click onSave button to save recorded file asdeferred action.Audio message is recorded and saved. (Tomake sure that file is saved, go to Service->View deferred actions->selectRadioserver and click on Load action list).3 Switch on Radio A. As soon as the Radio A registers in OnlineList of Subscribers, Loudspeaker of RadioA it will receive recorded file.Deferred actions – Text message# Actions Presumable result Comments1 Switch off Radio A.In Subscriber Panel double click onRadio A (even if it’s in Offline List ofsubscribers) and select CreateDeferred Action.Create Deferred Action Window is opened.2 In Create Deferred Action Windowtick Send text message field and typetext. After you finish click on Savebutton.Note. Unselect Send Audio Messageif you send only deferred text message.Text message is saved. (To make sure thatit is saved, go to Service->View deferredactions->select Radioserver and click onLoad action list).Switch on Radio A. As soon as the Radio A registers in OnlineList of Subscribers, message will bedelivered to Radio A.

Private Phone Call initiated by phone subscriberPrivate Phone Call initiated by phone subscriber# Actions Presumable result Comments1 Dial Radio A ID from the phone.If there is any Private Call Maskspecified in Radioserver Configurator,first dial Private Mask and then RadioA ID.Loudspeaker of the Radio A produces thesound which notifies user about incomingphone call.2 Press PTT on the Radio A Two-way half-duplex communication isestablished between phone subscriber andRadio A.3 Hang up to end phone call. Connection between Radio A and phonesubscriber is broken. Loudspeaker of theRadio A produces the busy tone whichnotifies radio subscriber that phone call isended.3.2. Group Phone Call initiated by phone subscriberGroup Phone Call initiated by phone subscriber# Actions Presumable result Comments1 Dial Group ID (in which Radio A, Band C are included) from the phone.If there is any Group Call Maskspecified in Radioserver Configurator,first dial Group Mask and then GroupID.Loudspeakers of the Radio A, Radio B andRadio C produce the sound which notifiesusers about incoming phone call.2 Press PTT on one of the radios. Half-duplex communication is establishedbetween phone subscriber and group ofradio subscribers. (Many-to-ManyCommunication)3 Hang up to end phone call. Connection between Group 1 and phonesubscriber is broken. Loudspeakers of theradios produce the busy tone which notifiesradio subscriber that phone call is ended.3.3. Type phone number andpress OK.If you have predefined phone numberin Contact List, you can choose it andpress OK. Select Call Phone and clickOK one more time.Phone Subscriber hears incomingtelephone call.Loudspeaker of the Radio A informs thatphone is ringing and Radio A is waitingwhen phone subscriber picks up the phone.When the phone subscriber picks up thephone, he hears notification tone that thiscall is from radio network.Two-way half-duplex communication isestablished between phone subscriber andRadio A.Loudspeaker of the Radio A produces shorttone which notifies that the connection isestablished successfully.2 Press BACK button on the Radio Akeypad to end phone callConnection between Radio A and phonesubscriber is broken. Loudspeaker of theradio produces the busy tone which notifiesradio subscriber that phone call is ended.On the screen of the Radio A you will seemessage “Ending Phone Call…”.3.4. Phone call between Radio and Phone subscribers initiated by DispatcherPhone call between Radio and Phone subscribers initiated by Dispatcher# Actions Presumable result Comments1 In Subscriber Panel double click onRadio A to open Subscriber CallWindow. Click on Call TelephoneSubscriber and select Phonesubscriber to connect. If there is nonecessary phone number in the list ofphone subscribers, click on Dialbutton and enter phone number. Thenclick Connect.Phone subscriber selected by Dispatcherhears incoming phone call tone.Loudspeaker of the Radio A informs aboutincoming Phone Call.On SmartPTT Dispatcher Console you willthe current phone call status: “Ringing…”.2 Establish the connection by picking upthe phone.Two-way half-duplex communication isestablished between phone subscriber andRadio A.On SmartPTT Dispatcher Console you willthe current phone call status: “Call”.3 Hang up to end phone call. Click Finish.GPS Settings Window is closed.GPS information will be saved to database.4.2.Receiving and Processing GPS Locations from Radio SubscriberReceiving and Processing GPS Locations from Radio Subscriber# Actions Presumable result Comments1 Provide GPS signal reception by RadioA. (Place the radio outdoor for sometime or go outside with the radio)Sometimes it can take some time toreceive GPS signal (about 10 minutes).On the screen of the Radio A you will seefilled satellite antenna sign. That meansthat radio receives and processes GPSsignal.2 In Subscriber Panel right-click onRadio A to open Subscriber CallWindow and tick GPS Support andShow on Map (specify period of GPSlocation update). Click on Savebutton.In the main menu of SmartPTTDispatcher go to Map->and open mapto see subscriber on it.Subscriber Properties Window is closed.Radio A sends its location informationaccording to GPS update time period.On the map you will see Radio icon withthe actual GPS coordinates.4.3.Turning off GPS Location Requests from SmartPTTTurning off GPS Location Requests from SmartPTT# Actions Presumable result Comments1 In Subscriber Panel right-click onRadio A to open Subscriber CallWindow and unselect Show on Mapand click on Save button.Subscriber Properties Window is closed.Radio A stops sending s its locationinformation.Radio icon disappears from the map.

Test Procedure of Sound Recording.Listening Recorded Calls# Actions Presumable result Comments1 In SmartPTT Dispatcher click on EventLogs in the Main Menu bar and selectAll Events.The system event log appears.2 Select several events which containsound records and click on PlaySelected Records button.Play Records Window opens. Recordedfiles are sorted by date. Automatically thefirst record is played.3 Click on Go to next record button. Dispatcher starts to play the second record.4 Click on Return to previous recordbutton.Dispatcher starts to play the first record.5 Click on Stop Playback button.
