The questions address basic attention to detail as well as math and, finally, expand into general knowledge of real applications experienced in the shipping and receiving environment.

      • Evaluation to measure a candidate’s knowledge and skill used in safe forklift operation, according to OSHA’s standards. The evaluation includes operating tractors, platform lift trucks, motorized hand trucks as well as other specialized industrial trucks powered by electric motors or internal combustion engines. It also measures the basic knowledge that forklift operators must possess regarding the equipment itself.
      • Evaluation to measure a candidate's ability to identify and cross-reference information found on common warehouse documents such as product or package labels, inventory forms, bills of lading, and shipping documents.
      • Evaluation to measure a candidate's understanding of practical safety considerations for a warehouse or industrial environment including use of hazardous materials, prevention of accidents, and emergency procedures.
