1. Check title & date box Is this the correct ◦ Project ◦ Title ◦ Date – Start & finish – sensible? ◦ Version 2. Check the timescale ◦ Does it make sense? ◦ Is it convenient/useful for your project? 3. If M/S Project is this the Gantt chart view?
4. Where & what are the milestones? 5. Do you agree with the Tasks or activities 6. Do these activities lead logically to the milestones? 7. Where is the critical path? 8. Is everything connected? 9. Do any of the tasks sit out by themselves? ◦ If, so they don’t mean anything.
10. If the tracking view ◦ Has this been baselined? Ie that is our starting point with planning ◦ What progress since beginning the project? 11. Variances ◦ These are the gaps between what we planned & what is happening. 12. Managing time or schedule ◦ Doing something in response to this variance

Keep it brief and similar to the scope management plan It is only setting up how you are going to manage the project. Think about what you need to tell the project team & appropriate level of detail Your schedule should be reviewed at least weekly and this will feed into ◦ Progress reports ◦ weekly project meetings
