In 1975 Walter Wolf, a rich Canadian businessman and F1 racing team owner, persuade Lamborghini to produce three super powered Countach models.
The Wolf Countach had the same engine as the original Countach prototype and were able to reach a top speed of 315 km/h.
With the success that this got, Lamborghini produced more supercars for racing.
Lamborghini now manufactures some of the fastest motorsport cars in the world.
Still it is unable to be faster than the Ferrari and Maserati.

1978: Lamborghini went bankrupt in 1978 and was sold to Chrysler

2003: Lamborghini made another great car, the Gallardo.
2007: The jet-inspired Reventon was made, cost half a million each, about only 12 were made.
2011: The Aventador is made, and is very expensive.
