    • Lean Six Sigma Introduction 2 Day Programme Lean Sigma Systems, is launching its public Lean Six Sigma Introduction programme, which will be run on two consecutive days, commencing May 18th 2009. This programme will give participants an insight into both Lean and Six Sigma at an introductory level, and will be highly beneficial, particularly if the participant company are embarking on Lean and Six Sigma and require more information about the techniques. Lean Six Sigma is a combination of two very successful methodologies that increase Productivity and drive Continuous Improvement. It enables companies to unlock the power of every individual, encourages innovation up and down the organisation and creates a simple and direct pathway for every product and service. Lean is an approach to continuous improvement that seeks to reduce and eliminate non-value added activities from a process. Six Sigma uses a structured approach known as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control) to reduce variation and improve efficiency. Susan is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ and Air Academy Associates, a certified Lean Practitioner from University of Limerick and FAS registered trainer.
