  • 21. POND PREPARATION
    Cleaning
  • 22. Pump water to pond
Should rest water for long time
Or used water that we have cultured
Filter water before pump to pond
    Out side _ Blue net
Insidefilter with Filter cloth 4 layer
  • 23. Water Preparation
    The objective during filling,
    treatment of the water and
    fertilization,is to encourage
    a healthy plankton bloom
    and prevent other species
    entering the pond.
The water should be screened through a fine mesh
    (9.5 holes/cm or 89/cm2)
  • 24. BENTHOS
    Benthos is the formulated
    buffering agent
and trace minerals that is necessary
    For Benthic organisms in pond.
Benthic organisms are natural feed for shrimp.
Able to promote growth, improve survival rate
    and molting of shrimp.
    5-10 L per 1,600 square meters
    1-5 days before release pL

  • 26. CaMg(CO3)2
    SITTO DOLOMITE
    ASAHI DOLOMITE
    Increase pH Alkalinity
    Bloom plankton
    (Build water color)
Add Mineral for shell and nervous system
  • 27. Every time – Increase pH
Day time – Build water color
Night time or Early morning :
    Increase Alkalinity ,Drop plankton
  • 28. TEA SEED POWDER
    SAPONIN 12-15%
    -Killing Fish in the pond
    Killing snail (creeper shell)
    10-20 kg. 1,600 m2 depth 1-1.5 m.
    The efficiency depend on salinity
    2.5 – 5 ppm
  • 29. CARRIER
    Many crustaceans over 40 species
Tolerant carriers may be a danger to farmer
They can transfer the virus to shrimp
  • 30. WANWAY
    Active ingredient
    (RS)-α-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl(1RS)-cis-trans-3-(2-2-dichlorovinyl)-1,1-dimethycyclopropane carboxylate(C22H18Cl2NO3)
WANWAY is new chemical for treat water and kill virus pathogen in shrimp culture(White Spot Syndrome Virus;Yellow Haed Virus and Taura Syndrome Virus)
    Useful purpose
    - To kill the carriers of virus pathogen;(shrimp; crab and small fish)
    - To be used for shrimp pond preparation before input postlarva in growth pond or kill cariers virus pathogen in stock tank.
    Application and dosage
Dissolve with water and make dilution before applying to the pond
    at the dosage of 1 litre/4,800 m2 depth 1 m. at time 10.00 AM
Recommended using during the day time and increase aerator and release postlarva after use WANWAY 10 days.
  • 31. Calcium hypochlorite
    25-30 ppm of 60%
    calcium hypochlorite
    *less effective at high pH
    Trichlorfon0.25-1 ppm
    *best effective at high pH
    After used this chemical ,
the pond water should be aerated for 12 hours
  • 32. BIOQUATS
    BKC 80%
    Disinfectant
    Killing pathogens 0.5-1.5 litres
    Decrease pathogens 0.5-1 litres
  • 33. SITTODINE
    Iodine Complex 10%
    Effective Against
    Bacteria eg. Vibrio sp.
    Virus eg. WSSV, YHV, MBV
    Protozoa
    Use 1-2 ppm
