    Notes on slide 1

Confident in making a decision about your own site

A lot of people feel dis-empowered by their websites, either they’ve spent a lot on it already – or they don’t know how to contact their own webmaster/niece nephew etc

Somerfield  Waitrose argument Replacing touch and feel, smell and taste

One page site – a website is only linked together by a navigation bar

This is the some coding that the person creating this site would have written – either by hand or by using dreamweaver or frontpage or something else. Thay have then had to upload it (via ftp) to a webserver and set up their hosting and domain name and email addresses.

So what about sitesplus??? Explain where it has come from Your own site builder – no-one else can see it. Where you put your content into your site
