  • How to Design Vinyl Banners for Your Restaurant
    • Whether you work for a large chain or you’re just a small
local café, you have to advertise your restaurant to be
    successful.
    • Vinyl banners are a great product for the restaurant
industry because they are cost-effective and customizable.
    • Here’s a guide to help with the restaurant banner design
    process:
  • Banner Size
    • Measure the area where you’d like to display the banner.
    • If you’re hanging this banner outside your restaurant, it should be
    at least 3’x6’.
    • Banners used inside your restaurant can be smaller (~2’x4’).
    • Most banner printing companies can accommodate custom sizes
    as well.
  • Message
    • Feature important messages like grand openings and specials as
large as possible, along with your name and information.
    • Write something unique and attention-grabbing so that you’re the
restaurant people think of when they get hungry!
    • Too much information will make your banner hard-to-read, though.
  • Visuals
    • Select a font that fits the feel of your restaurant, but make sure it’s
    bold and easy-to-read.
    • Use your restaurant’s color scheme, and make sure there’s enough
    contrast for readability.
    • Include pictures of your signature dishes to get more attention.
  • Finishing/Location
    • Outdoor banners need special finishing (they are printed on a
thicker vinyl material and the edges are reinforced to prevent wind
    damage).
    • Add grommets to hang your banner in front of your restaurant or
    inside your dining room.
