  • 2. Car Sign Options:
    Magnet Edition
  • 3. Car magnets are a fairly straight forward product. Easy to design, easy to order, easy to install. Here are a few magnet options to consider when order to get the best “bang for your buck.”
  • 4. Rounded Corners
Rounded corner make your magnet more aerodynamic. Wind passing over sharp corners can catch a circled corner and pull the sign right off. Rounded corners prevent this problem.
  • 5. Thickness
Different sign companies offer different thickness for their magnets. Proper vehicle magnets are measure in mil, and the best ones are 30 mil thick.
Don’t let a company sell you something that should go an a refrigerator. They won’t be strong enough and are usually less then 1 mil thick.
  • 6. UV – Solvent Ink
Most outdoor sign printing companies use a uv-solvent ink, but its important to make sure. This type of ink resists fading and sun damage.
  • 7. Overlaminate
For outside magnets its important your design is protected. A protective laminate is a thin clear film that cover the prints protecting them from weather damage and scratching.
  • 8. Reflective
The reflective option prints on a thin reflective film. Think street signs and construction signs. If your using your magnet at night, this is a great option to still be able to grab attention.
