  • 2. Car Sign Options:
    All About Adhesive
  • 3. The idea of “adhesive” frights sign shoppers. How will I get it off?! Will it damage my car?
All valid concerns, but there are so many adhesives options available you can find one that perfect for you.
  • 4. “For Car” Adhesive
If your ordering car decals, make sure you find a sign company that offers a special “for car” adhesive. This is specially designed not to damage the vehicle paint when its removed.
  • 5. Low-Tack Adhesive
Low-tack adhesives are designed to be strong enough to hold the decal to the vehicle, but can be removed and re-applied. Store them carefully to keep the adhesive protected and keep the adhesive from touching itself.
  • 6. How to Remove
    Normal Adhesive
If you have an adhesive decal and are ready to remove it, work slowly and carefully. Heat the graphic with focused heat from a blow dryer or heat gun to loosen the adhesive.
You can then gently pulling it back, using a squeegee to assist. Use an adhesive remover, like Goo Gone, to remove any residue.
  • 7. Non-Adhesive
If the thought of adhesive still scares you, consider a non-adhesive sign like car magnets or car window clings. They can be easily applied and removed without any risk of damage to the vehicle.
