Edit your basic info: A recent study found that 71% of meeting professionals agree that the importance of social media continues to grow for the industry.  2. If you are a professional in the meetings industry and you do not have a commanding presence on LinkedIn, you are unquestionably missing opportunities to connect and grow your business.  Edit your account Only 42% of LinkedIn users update their profile regularly.  1.  Upload a current professional photo  Edit your industry (E.g. Event Services)  Edit your headline o Gives people a reason to click on your profile  Update your contact info: o Should have at least one email address o Add your city  Claim your public profile URL (E.g. linkedin.com/acarter2/)
