  2. 2. I am a Californian native with a passion for all things entertainment. My greatest strength in the field of communications is my organized self- starter mentality, my excellent communication skills and my ability to build and maintain close relationships with all types of people. I am comfortable in my own shell, love to laugh and I enjoy every experience that comes my direction. You will notice I have experience as a junior publicist in the entertainment industry, as an administrative and executive assistant in the public relations field and as an event/production coordinator for several non-profit organizations. I am seeking an opportunity where I can best contribute my positive energy, my experiences, skills and background to help an organization achieve their business objectives. My goal is to have a career in public and media relations in the entertainment industry…. WORK EXPERIENCE • COMPILATIONS OF MY COLLEGIATE WORK • SPEAKING, VISUAL, WRITINGS, COMUNICATION OR EXTRACURICULAR ACTIVITIES • Virtually anything can be presented in a digital portfolio: short or long texts, images, audio, video, presentations. When selecting what to include consider • • What evidence represents me as my best self? • • What does my audience expect or want to see? What genre conventions, if any, apply to (digital) portfolios in my field? • • What formats do my materials need to be in? • • How can I organize my materials so my audience can easily find the material they’re looking for? (Unlike print, websites are not read top to bottom in consecutive order) • Summaries: emphasize the problem and the solution you developed with summaries of the projects that your samples represent. Explain your role in the project and any particulars that highlight your contributions.
