  • 4. Restaurants & Bars © OnBoard 2010 4 • The street is pedestrian only and populated by several restaurants and bars and has outdoor dining when the weather permits. Some of them • Harry's Cafe and Steak has a maze of rooms connects the audible power buzz of its underground steak house and wine cellar to the martini-sipping crowds in the lively bar. • Mad Dog & Beans is an ideal drinking spot, with its vast selection of tequilas, walls covered in old barn wood and vintage photos of Pancho Villa lit by Edison bulbs, a Mexican cantina. • Beckett's Bar & Grill is where investment bankers crowd the sidewalk seating to devour burgers, beer and sweet potato fries.
  • 5. • The eastern portion of the street and the surrounding buildings has been protected since 1996 by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission as the Stone Street Historic District. • The area also has Smörgås Chef, Stone Street Tavern, The Waterstone Grill, Adrienne's Pizzabar, Financier Patisserie, Ulysses' Folk House and Vintry Wine & Whiskey and at Urban Lobster Shack. • Lobster rolls and chowders fill the stomachs of tourists and local worker alike. Really there's no need to choose to eat just go way up one side of the street or down the other and you will have good food. Good Food
