Citi Field• Citi Field the new baseball stadium for the NewYork Metsis in Flushing.• The Concourse level features a 360-degree, circulatorywalkway around the ballpark with expansive field viewsand ample standing room. Fans throughout the ballparkhave access to multiple sit-down, climate-controlledrestaurants, bars, clubs, and lounges, a majority of whichwill provide field views, and a wide range of menu choice.• In early 2006 the NewYork Mets unveiled the officialmodel for the new stadium and announced in mid-November 2006 that the stadium would be called CitiField, named for Citigroup Inc.The financial servicescompany agreed to pay $20 million dollars a year to thepark for 20 years, making it the second major leaguesports venue in the area named for a corporate sponsor theother being the Izod Center in New Jersey.© OnBoard 2010 3

New Yankeestadium is second most expensive stadium ever built in theworld.The New York Yankees partnered with Cisco Systems tointegrate video, voice, data and wireless services into oneseamless next-generation network that connects fans to theteam in entirely new ways. Fans can view sports news andscores, weather and traffic while never missing a moment ofgame action on the field. Live game broadcast on HD videomonitors displayed throughout the stadium, includingconcession areas, the Great Hall, the Yankees Museum andother in stadium restaurant and bar locations.
