Several prototypes of the device were prepared and tested in the laboratories of the Szczecin University of Technology. The results of the tests were very positive. The device is very easy to use, and, like a computer mouse, users can operate it intuitively. However, as opposed to a computer mouse, SLIDEPAD is much more precise, more comfortable to use, and most importantly, can be integrated as the primary user- interface for laptops or mobile phones.
