change I enjoyed it”- Abhinav Shukla
In a fun filled interaction with city based communication college-NIMCJ
Ahmedabad 14th March, 2013:
Zee TV‟s Hitler Didifame actor Abhinav Shukla visited city based Communication
College National Institute Of Mass Communication and Journalism- NIMCJ to
interact on the topic of “Smart Communication Skills & media management” -The
success mantra for the modern day actor.
The audience enjoyed the small video dedicated to the actor which was created by
the students of the college. Abhinav shared his journey from being an engineering
student to entering the glamour world with the students. He started his career with
modelling and by being a part of different pageants and winning different titles like
Mr. Potential in Gladrags Mr. India and Mr. Grasim.
Sharing his views on the apparent and the inevitable presence of media in actor‟s life
Abhinav said “Nobody would be a star without media”. Students interacted on
various topics ranging from his educational background to modelling career, his
stint on the reality show. While talking about the importance of communication in
the field of entertainment he said that though we need to be good looking,
communication plays a very vital role in our progress.
Excited about his role in upcoming tele saga „Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan’ on Zee
TV, Abhinav said “I‟ll be playing the male lead in the serial and I‟m looking forward
to the character of Annirudh as the show was very popular in Zee Bangla so living
upto the expectations of audience would be a challenge. Annirudh is a very loving
and caring husband and does only what he wants to do.”
“According to me no realty show is scripted and its crux is the celebrities who do not
get along with each other in a particular environment”, said Abhinav while sharing
his experience in Survivor’s India 2012.
While answering the question related to his journey from modelling to Acting
Abhinav said “For any model the ultimate destination is to get into mainstream
cinema.” He further added that “in television, actors tend to be stereotyped as they
over exposed on television and I don‟t want that for my future career”.
Abhinav further mentioned while savoring Gujarati cuisine „Khaman Dhokla‟ that
he is not allowed to eat all those foods because of strict diet.
Students of NIMCJ were very excited about interacting with the actor and celebrated
the upcoming festival of Holi with great zest.
