  • 2. Topic : Adjective (describe people) Focus Skills : Grammar Content Standard : 5.1 By the end of the 6- year primary schooling, pupils will be able to use different word classes correctly and appropriately. Learning Standard : 5.1.6 Able to use adjectives correctly and appropriately: 2
  • 3. (a) colour (b) shape (c) size (d) opinion Behavioural Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: 1. To tick at least 6 adjective based on the checklist 2. List at least 5 adjectives from the video correctly. 3
  • 4. 3. List down adjective from the pictures correctly. Vocabulary : fair, dark, fat, gorgeous, thin, puddy, adorable Previous knowledge : Pupils have learnt adjective (colours, size) previously. Moral values : Always say good things to others in daily life Thinking skills : Identifying, classification and comprehension Multiple intelligence : Verbal-linguistic, intrapersonal, linguistic Educational Emphases : ICT 4

  • 6. Stage / Time Set induction Content 1. Eliciting pupils’ Teaching / Learning Activities 1. Teacher shows picture of (5 minutes) responses. (teacher’s celebrity and asks pupils to list questions):- adjective from the picture 6
  • 7. Presentation 1. Presenting 1. Teacher introduces to the (25 minutes) concept of students the adjectives using adjective. pictures through power point slides a) Colour b) Shape 7
  • 8. c) Size d) Opinion 2. Teacher shows a video clip to the students with the lyrics 3. Students are required to observe the adjectives in the video 8
  • 9. What did you see in the video? 4. Teacher asks the students what they have seen (adjectives) from the video Bruno Mars has nothing on us! Today I don't feel like....describing anything! 9
  • 10. Practice (15 minutes) Guess the adjective. 1. Pupils are divide into groups 2. Teacher shows video once again 3. Teacher provides each pupil with a checklist of all the adjective based on the video and also other addition adjectives. 10
  • 11. 4. Teacher checks the answer with the pupils 11
  • 12. Production 1. Teacher divides pupils into group (10 minutes) 2. Teacher gives pictures related to adjectives to pupils. 3. Pupils list the suitable adjective based on the picture 4. Pupils tell the adjective in group 12
  • 13. 5. Pupils write a sentence related to the picture using the adjective they've learnt 6. Teacher checks the answers with pupils 13
  • 14. Closure Summary of today’s (5 minutes) lesson 1. Teacher highlights examples of adjectives that they have learnt. Highlights moral value 2. Teacher highlights the moral value "Say a good things in our daily lives" 14
