Song of Solomon Chapter 1 vr 13_17 Prayer Reflections - Presentation Transcript

    1. Song of Solomon
      • Chapter One
      • 13
      • A bundle of myrrh is my well-beloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts.
      • My beloved is unto me as a cluster of camphire in the vineyards of Engedi.
      Bride Prayers
    2. Bride Communes in Her Own Heart
      • All night the thoughts of our Love, lay between my breasts. Your presence is deep within my heart, oh Lover! Your beauty is so Divine. Until I have all of You, My Beloved, my heart is like a bundle of myrrh. My heart is bitter, at times, because I cannot have more of You with me always.
    3. Bride Communes in Her Own Heart
      • Nevertheless, My Love, even though I have been with You a few times, I will pursue You until I have all of You. Our Love is matchless to any other, even though there will be many crosses to bear. I want all of You, My Love! Everything else is separation to me.
    4. Bride Communes in Her Own Heart
      • My heart has become a vineyard, like that of Engedi, for in my heart I will carry You and Your presence of Life will wash over my heart. Oh! Lover of my Soul!
In my frustrations of not seeing You, and being with You, I will ponder on Your Beauty to sustain me. Come!! My Beloved! Come! Why must You be so obscure?
    5. Bride Prayers Begin
      • Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.
      • Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant: also our bed is green.
      • The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.
      Chapter One Vrs 15-17
    6. Bride Prayers Continue
      • You are beautiful, My Soul Lover! The moment you turned your heart towards me, You captured My heart. Your eyes are like doves. Like the doves they only have one partner in life.
      • I know the eyes of your heart are only for me, My Groom!! You are fair!! You are fair! My Lover! Our bed is green, and alive in our hearts. Our Love is ready to grow together. Our Love is like spring time to me, and by our Love all things have been made new.
    7. Summary Chapter One
      • Throughout the meditations of Chapter One Video’s we have meditated upon the Shulamite Lady, who desires to be married with her lover, King Solomon. We see how full of gasp she was to spend a night in his chambers and to be with him. However, one night with him wasn’t enough.
      • So it is with the Bride of Christ, and our Heavenly Groom-Jesus! At times He seems so far away and it is times like those He wants us to practice His presence in what He has already given to us in our hearts. In times like those, He speaks to us anew of His Love for us---only to draw us more into Himself.
    8. Summary Continued
      • Interestingly, this gives us beautiful insights to how our Lord see’s our hearts. He see’s our heart through the eyes of beauty. (He weaves our hearts in chains of gold, which is His Love for us.)
      • As well, He allows us to make mistakes in trying to find Him in outward settings. (She went to the flock of kids and the Shepherds Tents.) He never estimates her Love for Him, but continues to draw us in His Love and His words of beauty—to the one He died for, His beautiful Bride, the Church!
    9. Upcoming Videos
      • Our upcoming Bride Prayer video’s is called “The Invitation to the Bride” as we see how her Lover draws her to “ Sit under His Shadow” and learn more of His precious delights! Oh! Such Love!
