Seymourpowell at The London Design Festival 2011 Ideas Generator, The Concept Lounge featuring Seymourpowell 20th – 23rd September 2011London, UK, 17 August 2011 – leading global design and innovation companySeymourpowell is pleased to announce details of its activity planned for this year’sforthcoming London Design Festival. In collaboration with curatorial collective The ConceptLounge, Seymourpowell will run a programme entitled Ideas Generator, an interactiveworkshop, including discussion and practical sessions, from 4 – 8 pm on 20, 21 and 22September. The workshops will take place at the Gallery in Redchurch Street (E2 7DP).During each workshop, members of the Seymourpowell team and talented new designerswill imagine a future where reality has changed. Seymourpowell will use their distinctiveresearch and design process to explore the implications and possibility of a future whereenergy consumption is strictly rationed. Included in each session will be an introduction tothe Seymourpowell design process and practical sessions on trends, ethnography, ideasgeneration and concept development. On Friday 23 September, visitors to The ConceptLounge will be able to view some of the best work from the three workshops.Tickets for the workshops will be available from 1 September. Places are strictly limited foreach workshop. To apply for free tickets please email events@theconceptlounge.com.Those successful in securing tickets will be notified via email.The Concept Lounge will also feature an exhibition of prints as part of the Ideas Generator‘Series One’ collection. These will be available to purchase at various pop-up stalls in thespace. In addition The Concept Lounge offers an opportunity for partnership sessions fromthe 20th - 23rd at 12pm - 3pm daily to discuss future collaborations.
