    • Ah, it was just another crappy day in paradise. 
    • Woke up this morning and went surfing .

    • Got a text from my buddy congratulating me on
    • the big business acquisition 
    • I text him that I just got a new ride that will define the future me.

    • Later that day, I decided to freshen up and meet him at the Sports Equipment store.
    • Had to get a new set of Calloway clubs to match my new ride.

    • One had a new S-class Mercedes-Benz, the other a 911 Carrera 4 Turbo AWD.

    • The two gave a blank stare at my Lexus. 
    • This left me feeling ashamed and in a state of dissonance towards my new car. 
    • I searched the web for immediate substitutes.

    • Frustrated, I reflected on their reactions.
    • I came to the realization that their reaction was not that of “ meh " but of awe .  They were shocked and jealous with my pick.

    • The next morning, waking up completely satisfied with my pick.
    • Only thing left to do is hit some golf balls, mingle with some ladies and let the divestment settle in.
