  • The BMS experience is a good example of how Green Globes-CIEB can and should be used as a management tool for the environmental performance of existing buildings … to define … measure … analyze … implement … and improve on a continual basis. This can be done with a single building or as a key concept in corporate culture, as it is at Bristol Myer Squibb - through economic, social and environmental benefits
  • As mentioned previously, GBI will automatically issue a certificate after successful completion of the Stage II Green Globes third-party assessment process. If desired, clients may purchase a plaque. The plaque can be mounted indoors out outdoors and recognizes the amount of Green Globes earned. Additionally, announcing the awarding of the plaque through a a PR event is a great way to celebrate the environmental achievement and formal certification of the building with Green Globes. Within two years—and after capturing the actual performance data of the building and while seeking re-certification—we hope the building owner will be inspired to share the results with building occupants and keep the “green-ness” of the building a top-of-mind issue for all those involved in the life-cycle of the building.
  • The federal sector has been a major leader in driving the growth of the green building movement. GBI and Green Globes have been recognized many times for the ability of the Green Globes system to contribute to meeting the nation’s environmental goals.
