  1. 1. 1 IT – Applications (9) IT  E-Governance … refers to the use of internet technology as a platform for exchanging information, providing services and transacting with citizens, businesses, and other arms of government e-Government may be applied by the legislature, judiciary, or administration, in order to improve internal efficiency, the delivery of public services, or processes of democratic governance. Benefits: improved efficiency convenience: Instead of travelling to the respective offices for information, people can get most of the information via the internet. This save time, money. better accessibility of public services

Some of the information on this website is important Tenders, Right to Information Act, Important Govt. orders, notifications, AP legislative assembly , High court information etc. http://goidirectory.nic.in : This is Govt. Of India website. It give the details about Prime Minister, President , Ministers of various depts., PM’s speeches, Central Govt. details etc.

The information available is different secotors like Agriculture, Transport, science and India, Union Budget, various documents, forms, Web directories, Map, national symbol, cultural heritage etc. http://goagovt.nic.in : This is official website for Govt. of Goa. Some information on the website is different tenders, Govt. Gazzette, Administrative setup, details about secretaries, List of tenders (available by value, date, department etc.)
