The global themefor Earth Day 2013 is “The Face of Climate Change,” which was chosen to highlight the mounting impact of climate changeon people around the world. The Center will welcome more than 400 elementary school students, along with communityparticipants from the Pascagoula Audubon Society, Mississippi Museum of Natural Sciences, Mississippi Power Renew OurRivers and much more. The event will feature 144 of the top LPGA golfers. Military participants will bestationed by two’s at the course holes during the four day tournament. Each pair of honorees will hold the flag for thecaddy at the designated hole and will be greeted by top LGPA stars such as Stacy Lewis, Paula Creamer and Michelle Wieas they cycle through the hole. Pairs will do this each day for either the 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 - 6 p.m. shift. Participantswill be fed breakfast and lunch.
