      • The relationship of the angle between the mirrors (A) to the number of images (N) is expressed as A(N+1) = 360.
      • N+1 = 360 º ÷A
      • N = 360 º -1 ÷ A
      • Where N is the number of images formed between two mirrors inclined at any angle.
    4. LIGHT E-learning @Science-tutors
      • Draw three ray diagrams for angles 10 º , 20 º and 30 º to show the following
      • incident ray,
      • the normal and
      • reflected ray in a plane mirror
    5. LIGHT E-learning @Science-tutors
      • TASK
      • Describe the nature of the image formed in a plane mirror.
      • How is the image different from the object?
    6. LIGHT E-learning @Science-tutors
      • YOUR TASK
      • Predict the number of images formed of an object placed between two plane mirrors set at the following angles:
      • 60 º
      • 90 º
      • 160 º
    7. LIGHT ©2008 e-learning @Science-tutors The following data were collected in a science lesson-using a ray box and a slit to investigate reflections at plane surfaces (mirrors). Using the table shown below, represent the data as a line graph and draw a line of best fit. Incidence Angle Angle of reflection 10 10 20 20 30 30 40 40 50 50 60 60
    8. LIGHT E-learning @Science-tutors
      • TASK
      • Apply your knowledge and understanding of reflection to everyday situations
      • OR
      • State the uses of reflection to everyday situations.
