  2. 2. Everything is made of matter! <ul><li>Matter is anything that: </li></ul><ul><li>Takes up space </li></ul><ul><li>Or has mass (weight) </li></ul>
  3. 3. Matter comes in three forms: <ul><li>Solid </li></ul><ul><li> Liquid </li></ul><ul><li>Gas </li></ul>
  4. 4. Solids <ul><ul><li>Molecules are packed closely together. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Keep their shape- it is hard to change because the molecules move slowly. </li></ul></ul>Click for video.
  5. 5. Liquids <ul><ul><ul><li>Molecules are loosely packed and flow. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Its shape changes to take the shape of its container because the molecules move more quickly and easily. </li></ul></ul></ul>Click for video.
