MxVision WeatherSentry ®Sports Edition - Weather management tools designed for fan and player protection and event management

Weather is important, whether you’re a baseball team supporting an umpire’s rain/delay decisions, an amusement park looking to keep guests safe from lightning, a racing team looking for a competitive edge, or a ski resort facing snow-making decisions.

From play, delay, and cancel decisions to high-profile event planning to ensuring the safety of fans and players, MxVision WeatherSentry Sports Edition provides fast, accurate information for professional and collegiate sports, as well as outdoor recreation.

Powerful protection for players, fans, and others MxVision WeatherSentry Sports Edition’s real-time lightning data makes for safer events with fewer interruptions. Monitor real-time lightning as it approaches your area, as well as set up custom advisory and warning zones for your location — up to 60 miles out is available as an additional purchase — for automatic alerts. No need to constantly monitor the danger — this tool does it for you. Lightning Manager® sounds alarms when a strike occurs inside your designated zones of protection, helping you to provide a higher level of protection for fans, players, and employees. An all-clear notification can also be set up to let you know when the danger has passed, and includes a countdown to show you when that notification will likely occur.

Animate lightning strikes with images taken over the past hour to better show if lightning is intensifying or subsiding. You can even pair animated lightning strikes with real-time local radar for a better sense of where storms are headed. Lightning Manager detects and displays cloud-to-cloud lightning, in addition to ground strikes, to give you earlier warning of approaching dangerous storms. Plus, see lightning information on your cell phone when you’re on the go.

To help you keep players safer, better protect spectators, and plan practice and play, our future lightning tool shows the threat level for lightning at your location over the next hour, using a color-coded display.
