The Future of the Internet
Let’s take a look at how we think the internet will develop in the future.
What do you think will be different about the internet in a few years time?
More Availability
The Internet is already available on our PCs, laptops, games consoles, PDAs (Personal Data Assistants) and mobile phones.
Computer scientists have developed new uses for the internet, for example:
Internet TV
Internet in Cars
Internet Fridges
Virtual Reality
Internet Television
In the future will we need both television and internet?
It is likely that TV and internet
will be combined together.
Why should we have to wait until 6 o’clock to watch our favourite TV show? Go to a TV website, click on the show, and enjoy your TV program whenever you have time.
Games like World of Warcraft and The Sims have already created online virtual communities.
