      • Climate refers to meaningful interpretations of a work environment by the people in it
      • Objective of the Study :
      • To understand the relationships between the work environment (policies, practices, procedures) and work-related attitudes and behaviour

      • Also looks at perceived performance & opportunities for improvement

        • Supervisors
        • Assistant Manager & Dept. Manager
        • Senior Manager & Above
      • Across functions: R & D, Production, QC, Engineering, Purchase etc.
    5. Individual Perception:Total Customer service orientation, org. structure, accountability : key areas of concern

      • Left Graph : I know the factors our customers consider important and how good we are at them
      • Right Graph : We need to educate our customers to understand what they can reasonably expect

      • Right Graph : When I feel I should make a decision and I don't have the relevant information, I trust my intuition to suggest the right course of action

      • Right Graph : I know what happens in my area. I don't need a system to tell me
      I have appropriate systems. I don’t need them anyway

      • Right Graph : I do not believe that the company is either ready to make real changes or determined to push them through
      We are trying to change, the company is a bottleneck

      • Right Graph : Changes often happen in the business that I should know about but don't until after the event.
      Long term goals & objectives are well communicated. Everyday communication/changes needs improvement

      • Left Graph : The business makes it clear to people what they are responsible for
      • Right Graph : I would achieve my targets if it were not for the problems caused by other areas
      I am clear about my targets & responsibilities. Other departments affect my performance

      • Right Graph : We are always blamed when things go wrong, but never recognized when they go well
      Job priorities are clear. Reward & punishment system not fair
