Up coming events in the classroom
    Things happening school wide
    Reminders
    Up to date information

    Examples:
Newsletters made in Microsoft Word using a template
    Emails between you and parents
    A teacher website
Fliers made in Microsoft word about upcoming events
Notes home about fieldtrips, days off from school, or things needed for the classroom
  • 6. Projects
The internet is a great resource for projects in your classroom.
Once they have found information, they can write a report in a word document or even make a powerpoint presentation
    Tips:
Make sure to go over internet safety with your students
Give them direction on where to find reliable information
Put students in groups so they are able to assist each other with the technology
Model for the students how to do good research

When using technology to improve your lessons, you can teach technology at the same time you teach another subject.
When a student is able to see you demonstrate trouble-shooting, they are picking up how to use the technology while also learning the topic being taught.
    For Example:
    Keyboard shortcuts
    Using help
    Linking
    Cyber-safety
