  • Thanks Supriya. Some research has been done on this with evidence across sectors suggesting long term value creation when human capital is managed appropriately. There are annual lists published in many markets on '100 best companies to work for'. This no doubt helps the companies attract & retain talent, even if the compensation may be lower than other firms. A note of caution here though, Enron was acknowledged amongst top 25 employesr in the US in the 2 years preceding its collapse....

  • Good article- would be good if supporting evidence would be provided from leading organizations around the world. A follow up work could be to study some of the leading banks' share price movements and see as to whether there is any correlation with their human capital progressions and initiatives:-)
