  • guest4d9f1f guest4d9f1f I am a Certified Child Birth Educator (CCCE), currently certified with CAPPA . The scope of practice for the childbirth education involves teaching and providing information about the anatomy of the gravid women and her newborn, stages of pregnancy, labor, pain management and comfort positions during labor and newborn care. The childbirth educator provides information and support for women and their partner and the scope of practice includes pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum period. We offer a one on one, more intimate setting for first time moms, Teen moms, Single moms and Couples. This is the alternative to a hospital setting with 30 or more couples. Baby 411 is mobile, so we are willing to travel to your location or couples can visit us at our Stockbridge location. Our sessions at our Stockbridge location will never include more than five couples.
Examples of actions that are within the scope of practice include: comfort positions during labor, informed consent, knowledge about pain medication, VBAC information, Breech presentation information, breastfeeding and new born care information and skills.

Examples that are not within the scope of practice include: encouraging or forcing my opinion as a childbirth educator about epidural vs. natural childbirth, pushing my own birthing philosophy on students, giving Medical advice, writing Prescriptions, performing Physical Exams or not acting in a collaborative manner with the student's Health Care Provider.

Please log on to our website for more information. We would love to do business with your organization.

  • guest8d36df guest8d36df I teach childbirth classes in Fort Worth, Texas. I loved your power point presentation. I have been taking an EBP with TCU and working on planning a program for our hospital to get more African American pregnant women to come to classes to close the disparty gap. It is late but I am interested in going over your website more. Thank you for the work you are doing with this. 3 years ago Reply
