  • I currently manage approx. 60 different software licenses. Some of them include: Microsoft, McAfee ,Oracle, SAS , SPSS, Apple- Mac OS, Adobe I am responsible for keeping this campus auditable and in compliance with all of our software vendors and contracts. I have an extensive database of information that I keep on campus software, contracts, and installations just in case. I work closely with all IT personnel on this campus in order to make this transparent to the end user.
  • Auxiliary Staff must be Full Time Permanent Employees and they must have a valid Red ID card. This was decided by the Chancellor’s Office prior to announcing the inclusion of Auxiliaries to our contracts.
  • Make sure you have your valid RED ID card. If you do not have one, get one. We will need to enter your RED ID number into our reader to see if you qualify to receive the software. SDSU Adjunct faculty have no rights to any software on this campus. SDSU Emeritus Faculty or SDSU Retired Staff also have no rights to any software on this campus unless they are currently working on a project for SDSU and will require the software to complete the project. Then a letter will be required from that employer indicating the project and software needs.
  • The use of McAfee for the Campus and Auxiliaries was purchased by your department. With this we included home use. In doing this we help viruses from attacking the campus via your home computer or media you bring onto this campus from home. For departmental use see your IT coordinator. For home use, go to the TNS Help Desk – LL-200 or call 45261. Please bring a blank CD. The specific Microsoft software products I will be discussing are prepaid licenses. Anyone wanting to use something other than these prepaid licenses will have to purchase those licenses and media from our Large Area Reseller ASAP Inc. Some of the media will need activation codes when you receive it. If that is the case, please contact me and I will email you the activation codes. Our resellers information is posted on our website at http://uco.sdsu.edu and I will also be providing that information on a later slide.
  • Microsoft Work-at-Home media is different. It only allows 2 installs per CD and is not allowed to be burned. This is the media you will be getting from the SDSU Bookstore. It’s only for your primary Work-at-Home computer. Not you son’s, daughter, friend, or neighbor. You will only be allowed to buy “1” CD of each product per qualified person at the cost of $9.99 each. See list of products available at the SDSU Bookstore upstairs counter. If there are any problems or concerns, please contact me. Do not take the media that was loaded on your Departmental Computers home to load on your home computer. Also, do not load Work-at-home media on your departmental computer. Also, a home computer means HOME.
  • These products are available for both Departmental or Home use. This is the same corporate media that is used for your Department as well as for Home use. Bring a blank CD to the TNS Help Desk in LL-200 to get your copy of the software. Blank CDs are available in the SDSU bookstore upstairs for $.99. Please choose PERPETUAL as the license type during the installation.
  • These products are available for both Departmental or Home use.
  • These products are available for both Departmental or Home use.
  • SDSU Bookstore will be distributing Microsoft Home Use Software for a promotional fee of $9.99 per title. Please make sure you have a valid Red ID card. Media can only be read 2 times. Mandatory license agreement form will need to be filled out.
  • Matt Radzinski is your contact for Microsoft Licenses and media not covered by our contract. ASAP is our LAR (Large Area Reseller). They handle all MS and Adobe purchases. On all Adobe POs please make sure your order includes end users name and email address. Also, I have all of the activation codes for MS and Adobe products. Proof of purchase is required. ASAP also sells other software products at a reduced cost. Contact them to order licenses, please make sure you also order the media.
