Saline water intruded as far as 80 km into the coastline.<br />Agriculture affected due to water problems -Agriculture productivity will go down. 8-10% in wheat<br />Heath effects, soil erosion. Deforestation.<br />Worst hit will be the poor who lack the resilience to counter the adverse effects of climate change. <br />
