7. GUARD SHACK PROPOSAL
Overall Campus Safety Concern for Students
“Be Proactive, Versus Reactive”
Purpose
To improve safety on campus
Increase traffic flow through the entrance area
Provide a physical barrier for access to campus
Idea: build two mechanical arms at the entrance to campus to
allow for better control of traffic onto campus
One requiring visitors to stop at the current guard shack and the
other would allow current students to scan an ID card to get onto
campus
