PURCHASING ENVIRONMENT Description: This unit can be conducted in 1 day and covers an overview of all units, Procurement concepts and terminologies, the strategic functions of Procurement and relevant legislation. The unit incorporates a review of the Contract process, strategies for Contract Management, understanding the documentation, document control procedures, Contract transition, Contract operation, amendments, conflict resolution, funding, partnering (strategic alliances), Contract completion/extension/renewal and project evaluation. DISPOSAL OF GOODS Description: This unit can be conducted over 2 days and reviews the effective disposal of strategic and non-strategic assets.
