Upon graduation he worked as a Planner/Scheduler for SNC LAVALIN on FEED development and EPC lump sum for an international megaproject. Mikhail has continued his professional career as a Project Controls Specialist with Tyco Thermal Controls. He is currently seeing the implementation of Heat Management Systems for megaprojects executed in Northern Alberta. During the Fall of 2007 Mikhail registered in the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program, specializing in the area of work process simulation and planning.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE • Suncor Voyageur Upgrader Project (EDS, EPC) - $600 Million CDN: Project included the development of Heat Management Systems for Utilities & Offsite, Transfer Lines and Tank Farm. Managed and coordinated project controls activities during the EDS phase, currently the project has been awarded to Tyco Thermal Controls. • Suncor Firebag 3+ (EP Phase) - Project scope include the Engineering and Procurement of all materials related to Heat Management Systems for the Central Plant Facilities as well as wellpads. Assisted in the development of engineering budget estimates, establish overall project schedule and reporting methodology. Project is currently 15% complete. • Suncor Millennium Vacuum Unit (Construction Phase) - Project scope include the installation of Electrical Heat Tracing and Insulation throughout an operational plant. Coordinated and established project reporting and progress measurement methodology. Completed project audit and developed new project work processes for project controls activities during the construction Phase • Suncor Millennium Coker Unit (Construction Phase) - Project scope include the installation of Electrical Heat Tracing and Insulation throughout an operational plant.
