The project involved retiring two insurance case installation tools (one implemented as a mainframe application, the other a basic web-based application) and the implementation of a new tool that improved the functionality of the original applications and interfaced with multiple external systems. The second phase of the project involved researching and prototyping a business process management (BPM) application for the company’s case installation process that manages the work of everyone involved with the process. Both tools have been prototyped as rich enterprise web applications.
