  • 1. mimio® Glossary - Hardware mimio® Interactive Bar • Contains mimio’s patented infrared and ultrasound sensor technology. • Mounts quickly and easily to your existing whiteboard, vertically or horizontally. • Can read an area up to 4 feet by 8 feet (1.2 m x 2.4 m). • Works with a projector to control your computer directly from the whiteboard. • Connects wirelessly or via USB to your computer. • Provides five built-in function buttons to control interactive mode, tool palette, and screen markup and presentation effects. • Folds for easy transport or storage. mimio® Interactive Stylus • Calibrates your whiteboard in seconds. • Acts like a mouse, so you can manipulate anything on your computer screen right from the whiteboard. • Works with software tools to mark up screens, draw objects, write notes, and more. • Provides two programmable buttons, which allow you to click, right-click, drag and drop. • Ensures smooth, gliding action via its solid Teflon® tip. Tip creates the left click when depressed against the surface. • Resists cracking and impact damage. mimio® Ink Capture kit: • Enables digital capture of dry-erase marker ink from the whiteboard. • Uses Expo™ dry-erase markers, inserted into mimio stylus pens. • Allows handwritten notes and drawings to be saved, printed, shared electronically, and/or integrated into other digital materials. • Saves content in color as PDFs, GIFs, HTML files, and more. mimio® Wireless • Provides wireless connection between the mimio Interactive system and your computer. • Sets up quickly: Plug the wireless adapter into your computer’s USB port, and replace the USB module on your mimio Interactive Xi Bar with the wireless module. • Establishes an instant point-to-point connection, since the wireless module and the USB receiver are paired at the factory. • Affords a range of up to 30 feet (10 m), with no line-of-sight requirement. • Does not interfere with WiFi networks or wireless devices. • Requires 4 AA batteries (rechargeable batteries may be used), or an AC adaptor (included). • Works with Windows, Macintosh, and Linux operating systems. mimio Toll Free Support: 877.846.3721 email: training@mimio.com
