  • Desiree D. McCrorey UI Information Architect/UI Designer/Analyst Interaction Designer/Analyst Senior Product Manager - User Experience 1636 York St, San Jose, CA 95124 (408) 266-9591 ddmcc3@yahoo.com http://desiredcreations.com/resume1.htm Hello! My passion to improve users' experiences has driven me to develop an outstanding, multidisciplinary user interface architect career profile. I have welcomed the challenge of wearing many user engineering 'hats' over the past 10 years in commercial software development, including: • Senior/Principal UI Designer, Product Manager • Web, Desktop, Mainframe UI Information Architect • UI Contractor/Consultant • Usability Analyst, Testing Coordinator and Lab Facilitator • Visual, Graphic, and Information Designer/Analyst • User Centered Design & Usability Testing Course Developer • UI Software Prototyper • Task and User Analyst I've discovered that it is best for me to be skilled in as many areas as possible to produce highly usable software products. Additionally, my experiences working in military, government and commercial realms have helped me understand diverse business concerns, and how those factors influence product design and development methodologies. I consider the following to be some recent highlights of my career: • Successfully established a corporation's user interface design architecture, one that accommodated both desktop GUI and web implementations, • Successfully initiated a corporation's usability testing facility and program, • Familiarized many marketing and development departments on the benefits and scope of user-centered design, • Initiated a software designer/usability orientation and training program, where I developed and taught many the classes on task, role and user analysis, desktop and web and other network application designs, usability testing and prototyping, • Conducted a 12 month usability study to optimize my understanding of business computer users. My strong, broad background will enable me to make an outstanding contribution to any company's software product development effort. I am adaptable to many different types of development environments and products. My extensive range of experiences in UI information architect engineering and supervisory roles should be extremely useful. What will bring out my best? Being allowed to contribute my creative skills and passion for great user experiences to a dynamic, adaptable and fun company that wants to produce great software! Please feel free to contact me at (408) 266-9591 [hm] any time or via e-mail (ddmcc3@yahoo.com) if you have any questions. Sincerely, Desiree McCrorey
