  • 2. What is gonorrhea<br />An STI exchanged by bodily fluids<br />Caused by a bacteria called neisseriagonorrhoeae<br />
  • 3. How is it spread?<br />Through the mucous membrane<br /> - Mostly developed in the cervix, uterus, and fallopian tubes for women, and urethra for both women and men<br /> - It can also spread through the mouth, throat, and anus<br />
  • 4. Symptoms for Women<br />Greenish yellowish or whitish discharge from the vagina<br />Lower abdomen or pelvic pain<br />Burning when urinating<br />Conjunctivitis (red, itchy eyes)<br />Bleeding between periods<br />Spotting after intercourse<br />Swelling of the vagina<br />Burning in the throat (due to oral sex)<br />Swollen glands in the throat (due to oral sex)<br />

  • 6. Symptoms For Men<br />Greenish yellowish or whitish discharge from the penis<br />Burning when urinating<br />Burning in the throat (due to oral sex)<br />Painful or swollen testicles<br />Swollen glands in the throat (due to oral sex)<br />
