    • The parish is committed to supporting the Catholic education of students at the School of St. Mary
    • Students commit to following the rules of the school, upholding the standards of their faith, and being truthful and honest in all areas of their life

      • Following the rules published in the school handbook
      • Attending mass at St. Mary on a regular basis as a family unit
      • Tithing to the church through the use of the envelope system
      • Performing 25 hours of service per family, per year at the church and school, Why?

    • Reach out to new families. Avoid cliques and encourage your children to do the same
    • Avoid harmful gossip. For example- email, parking lot etc.

    • Go to Confession as a family on a reg. basis
    • Pray individually, as a couple, as a family
    • Encourage your children to pray on their own
    • Encourage your children to really listen to prayers each morning on intercom system, remember special intentions throughout the day

    • In addition to the yearly parish subsidy and financial assistance, totaling $236,127 this fiscal year, the parish also annually pays for:
      • Lawn maintenance
      • Landscaping
      • Trash service
      • Snow removal
      • Total : approx $47,400 (does not include salaries for business office)
  • 16. Parish is Invested in the School
    • In addition to yearly subsidies, between 2007 and now, the parish has underwritten several capital projects whose costs were not included in the annual school budget:
      • Resurface parking lot
      • Replace roof
      • Replace gym roof, bleachers, floor, white corridor
      • 2008 water main break

      • TOTAL: $554,589
