In a true sense schools are extensions of the home. Parents- and not schools either the state or the Church- have the primary moral responsibility of educating children to adulthood. Parish is Invested in the School <ul><li>In addition to the yearly parish subsidy and financial assistance, totaling $236,127 this fiscal year, the parish also annually pays for: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Lawn maintenance </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Landscaping </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Trash service </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Snow removal </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Total : approx $47,400 (does not include salaries for business office) </li></ul></ul>

Parish is Invested in the School <ul><li>In addition to yearly subsidies, between 2007 and now, the parish has underwritten several capital projects whose costs were not included in the annual school budget: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Resurface parking lot </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Replace roof </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Replace gym roof, bleachers, floor, white corridor </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>2008 water main break </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>School intercom system </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li> TOTAL: $554,589 </li></ul></ul>
