    • Managers should try to keep employees happy at the workplace. They should try their best to enable employees from an emotional bond with their work and company. Some ways to control the emotions and moods of employees are:
    • Give positive feedback when there is an opportunity.
    • Encourage every employee to put his knowledge and skills to full usage and reward their efforts appropiately.
    • Pay package and others benefits of employees must match that of others in the market.
    • Remember that highly motivated employees inspire others around them.
    • Changes must not be enforced. Employees must be convinced to accept it.
    • Interpersonal conflicts affect moods and emotions badly. They must be dealt in the shortest possible time constructively and fairly.
    • Communicate vision and goals clearly.
    • HANDLE THE SITUATION
    • A person himself has a major role to play in managing his emotions and moods more than anyone and anything else. No doubt external factors affect people, but the onus and ability to revamp their spirits lies in them. Here are a few points one must keep in mind:
    • Take time for yourself and relax. Do not think of the issues that led to this state.
    • Now accept the fact that unpleasant things happen and they happen to everyone.
    • Tell yourself that you can handle the situation. Tell that you are not going to spoil your day or make things worse because of some nasty event that has already taken place.
    • Change your perspective and see the unpleasant event as an experience that has something to teach you.
    • It is better you postpone crucial tasks.
    • If necessary tell others and seek their cooperation.
