  • Hi
My self Ankit, i want to get clarified on following issues related to small world performance/feasibility for enterprise based GIS also seeking alternative sol'n to it
    1. External access to VMDS (a Proprietary database) has a performance bottle neck in Magik
    2. Data representation in Smallworld is very poor compared to ESRI
    3. Disconnected Editing is not possible in Smallworld and Versioning of Geodatabases and its management is very complex
    4. Facility to query data based on date & parameter name within electric utility.
    5. Customizing of Smallworld is a difficult task and needs specialized skills
