  • 2. Field To Finish !  FME process to convert the exported .CSV file to a .DWG file with all point data mapped to attributed blocks and line features. !  Data QA/QC and manipulation into centralized data store. !  Data extraction from centralized data store. CONNECT. TRANSFORM. AUTOMATE.
  • 3. Past Field To Finish Process Field Data Collected Data Imported Into AutoCAD using various tools Data QAQC in AutoCAD and drawing stored in a project folder
  • 4. Problems !  No company wide standard schema for data collected !  No auto generation of drawings to speed up data collected in the field to client(s) !  No centralized data store for current and archive retrieval !  No data transformations for reoccurring processes.

  • 6. Data Standards !  Centralized data standards for data collected in the field !  Schema standardization of spatial data store !  QAQC process for all data collected !  Standard symbology for all data types !  Standard templates for all drawings generated

  • 8. CSV(PNEZD) TO DWG !  Iterates through each individual feature code and routes accordingly to the correct feature type. !  Data QAQC is automated and validation log files generated. !  DWG output with standardized template which includes populated point attributes and object data

DWG To Spatial Data Store !  Iterates through each individual feature extracting object data then stored in spatial data store according to defined schema !  Data QAQC is automated and validation log files generated !  Data is centralized to be viewed or edited by internal users for final adjustments

Data Extraction Process !  Users can extract data via a viewer or from FME Server !  Users can specify output data format from multiple listings (currently DWG,SHP,SDF,KML). !  Users can specify output data projection !  Users can select whether polylines or polygons should be clipped to a certain Area Of Extent
