    • Medea is in a coma and the majority of the play takes place in her mind.
    • Design concept (describe the environment/ world of the play)
    • The primary scene is the hospital room

    • The overall mood is dark, foreboding, sterile, cold, and broken.

    • The visual production style is stylized and simplistic, with bold contrasts and little color.

    • A broken mirror is the visual metaphor because it represents how shattered her state of mind and psyche are.
