The kite looked like a bird with a long silver ribbon for a tail. </li></ul><ul><li>“ Let me show you how to fly it,” said Luis. </li></ul><ul><li>“ No! I can do it by myself!” said Mario. </li></ul><ul><li>Mario threw the kite up in the air. The kite hit the ground. Next, Mario tried to run as he threw the kite. The kite crashed in a heap. </li></ul><ul><li>Luis was smiling. “Stop laughing at me!” said Mario. </li></ul><ul><li>“ I’ll help you,” said Luis. </li></ul><ul><li>“ No!” said Mario. “It’s my kite! You can’t fly it first!” </li></ul>

Its silver tail sparkled in the sun. “We did it, Luis!” he called. “Thanks a lot!” </li></ul>
