  • The riverwalk has:- Helped in creating a 24-hour downtown – with new retail, new eating establishments, clubs, etc.-  Promote housing development along the river- promote recreational use of the river - increase the amount of retail frontage --- the more sidewalk – the more valuable the land - We know that side walk area increases revenue / square foot- Created more value – more tax base  How did we do it?
